It is the beach town of Portoferraio for excellence. Its position rather defilata but puts sheltered from the chaos of the city and its exposure to the open sea saves from the port. Moreover, the stretch of sea front is beholden to organic farming. Long, white gravel striata of black veins, exposed to the open sea (especially the northern winds), is facing the fascinating Scoglietto, with a small lighthouse. The sea is beautiful and clean, so that a few metres from the coast brulica of life. It is therefore ideal for many dives. Very beautiful is also the glance on the ramparts above Medici. The beach is near the center of Portoferraio, on the side opposite the port. Behind the beach there are public gardens.
