It is one of the most famous beaches. Its strong point is the fundamental one of the finest sands and clear that very few other Beaches can boast. Even the seabed overlooking all’arenile are sandy and not collapse in a few metres. Protected by its wide gulf same name, suffers only northern winds. Frequentatissima, offers all the services.

On the provincial Procchio Portoferraio halfway between the two countries is the crossroads for Biodola (3 km).
