CAVO – RIO MARINA

It is the most famous tourist resort in this part of the island. The beach, which once covered the entire arc of coastline that affacciava the Gulf, is now reduced to two sections, to end it. Much has been banchinato for docking and tourist passengers. The first is located in front of the locality of San Bennato and is the longest stretch. In dark sand, exposed to the open sea, closed south of old buildings and north from the quayside berths. The second is called Cala Bolbaia, smaller, clear sand and repaired, perhaps more nice and sunny the first. They are both very popular and offer different services. A historical curiosity: behind the first beach you notice a house with a plaque which commemorates a brief stop in the country of Giuseppe Garibaldi.

The beach is located on both sides of the country, then just follow the signs to the Cavo.
